This past Monday I presented In the Footsteps of the 69th NYSM at First Bull Run to the Raleigh Civil War Round Table. About 30 folks were in attendance in the 300 seat auditorium of the North Carolina Museum of History. Again, the presentation ran longer than I hoped, but I haven’t figured out a good way to make it any shorter. Outstanding questions afterward, and a great venue. It was “broadcast” on Zoom. Thanks to president Charlie Knight. I’ll have more on the museum and its fine display of Civil War artifacts in a later post.
