Holy Guacamole!

I received a package in the mail today from friend and Chickamauga devotee Dave Powell.  Earlier this year, Brent Nosworthy, author of Roll Call to Destiny (which features a segment on First Bull Run), in an effort to downsize his library, was looking to dispose of many of his research materials for that book.  Dave took Brent up on his offer, and in the process I agreed to relieve Dave of the Bull Run portion.  So today’s mail brought me a three inch, three-ring binder literally overflowing with mostly primary Bull Run material, including newspaper accounts and memoirs.  Most of the stuff is published – though not all easy to find – which means I should be able to post it here with no copyright infringement concerns.  It will take some organizing first, but the result will be a large contribution to the resources section of this site.
