Excellent eye witness description..like all of them they exclude opposing unit names and a road is just a broad farm lane...a fence here a thick hedge there and a paling fence... (these are garden fences of many sticks stuck into the ground and interwoven) the original "picket fence of humbler times" Kept all kinds of small critters out of the vegetable patch. Oh to have five minutes to step back in time to witness this scene. It would answer so many terrain features that I still struggle with. I refuse to add " more smoke"
Thanks for this recent and the others this week.
