Between this and the Northern lights at Fredericksburg there was some interesting activities going on in the sky above the Civil War.

Great follow up…Comet’s seem to presage momentous events. The Negro woman of Washington was prescience with the ability to forsee the results of the coming conflict.
Is Adam Goodheart’s outstanding 1861: The Civil War Awakening available? If readily known please post. In the meantime I will look up online.
