I almost missed your comment - for some reason I didn't get an email. But WordPress has a new release coming out, and I'm guessing goofy stuff will be the norm for a little while.

The book is pretty nice - unfortunatley I haven't had much time to go through it.

They show AL in his office (one sitting and other other standing, IIRC) with natural light streaming in through the windows. He looked terribly thin and worn out.

I'm contemplating joining the history bookclub to get my five titles and run with it. This book is one of the titles I'm eyeballing. Another title I'm considering appears to be the response to DiLorenzo's efforts to tear Lincoln down. Robert
