Harry,

Are you aware of the following:

The captivity of General Corcoran, the only authentic and reliable narrative of the trials and sufferings endured during twelve months imprisonment in Richmond and other Southern cities, by Brig.-General Michael Corcoran, the hero of Bull run.Philadelphia: Barclay & co., 1862.

Harry,
These two letters may be of note? Re: Col. Corcoran of 69th NYSM. There are two letters written by Col. Corcoran, and penned from a Richmond, VA prison (July 24 & 29 of 1861,) in the NY Times Archives. Both letters describe the action before the Col.’s capture by the enemy and subsequent treatment directly after.
Linda
Listed under the following:
Prisoners At Richmond, Another letter from Col. Corcoran, July 24, 1861, pub. Aug. 12, 1861 To: Capt. James B. Kirker
