Harry was thinking of you when I was out on the water in Charleston last week. Got to see Castle Pinckney as we went by on the Harbor Cruise. Was interesting to see everything from the water view. Kept thinking what it must have been like to be on the David or the New Ironsides when they fought . Also interesting to see the opening of the Harbor and realize why it could be blockaded . It isn't that wide .
I got to see the Hunley again while in Charleston and saw the Monitor turret on the way down from Richmond to Charleston.
Never enough time.
