So far, I’ve only had two complaints about the theme, and both concerned the white text on black background. One was from an old (and I do mean old) friend – JUST KIDDING!!! The other was from the folks over at Civil War Interactive’s “This Week in Blogs” (why do I always hear that in my head as a Mel Allen voiceover).

For now, I’ll keep the format as is since most folks seem to like it. Just remember, I can change the theme with the click of a button. It’s that easy

I enjoy the artwork on your blog. The banner of Superman…excuse me, Stonewall is absolutely awesome! The video is something that I have not seen on other Civil War blogs yet. Your blog is quite unique. Keep up the good work!

I like the art direction of your site.

But mostly I like the light touch. So many CW sites seem ponderously austere and serious. You allow a refreshing amount of whimsy and humor into yours. A breath of fresh air.

Nice format. From someone who is out of town, the stuff about related artwork, statebuildings, etc. is great. It’s good that you’re assuming that not all are aware of these things, or what their import is. As you intend it to be partly educational, I think that’s the right approach. I hope that helps!

I must mention that I’m disappointed about the lack of attention affored JEB so far. I trust that this will be rectified soon.
